I actually purchased this unit in the spring (it is now fall) and have used it only a handful of times. Unit was easy to assemble and easy to use. It quickly became my favorite battery powered sprayer I've every used. Unfortunately, when I went to use it a week ago, the darn thing wouldn't spray. It would turn on, but it was like I couldn't get the battery to charge or something. The unit isn't cheap and I take care of it - making sure that it is cleaned after every use and properly stored... so when it stopped working, I wasn't thrilled. I wasn't angry cuz, I get it, stuff happens... but I wasn't thrilled.
Now, it took over a week to get a resolution... but that was because it took me days to respond back to Petra with information.... so the delay was completely on my end.
I contacted them right on FB messenger. I'm not on social media much and didn't realize I wasn't getting notifications when they would msg me back (hence the delay on my end). However, getting a resolution was as simple as describing the problem and then uploading a brief video of me trying to turn the unit on. They didn't ask for a video. I offered. As smoothly as they handled things and knowledgeable as they seemed, I'm not even sure the video was necessary.
Jenalee was the individual helping me out. It didn't take long after viewing the video for them to realize I had received a defective unit. Without any hassle whatsoever, they arranged to have a new unit shipped right to me without needing to go through the inconvenience of returning the defective unit.
For me personally, the customer service experience when I need help is at least as important as the product or service I purchase.
So petra is a company who has earned my future business and my referrals.
