Uncommon these days; truly Satisfaction Guaranteed

After reading the instruction manual, assembling spray attachments, and priming the pump I was ready to kill some weeds. Two gallons of warm water went into the tank and I used the plastic orange/red lock on the handle to keep a constant flow of water pumping out of the unit. Next two gallons of weed killer. I walked out to where I needed to spray used the metal dial to start pump slowly I heard it pump but it stopped. I did not know this at the time, but enough pressure was built up to spray had I pressed down on the handle.

So I called Petra Tools hot line and spoke with Mike. Mike did the best he could with step by step trouble shooting questions and "fix-ers" up to and including swapping out the fuse and telling me how to access the battery.

The problem was me, not the HD 4000. I was expecting to hear the pump like I did when I first turned it on to prime the pump. I was not depressing the handle to spray......I've got to get to the point; to ensure I was completely satisfied with my purchase, Petra Tools sent me a complete replacement unit at no charge.

Come on now! When did that ever happen with an on line purchase? I don't remember if it ever has (for me), it's always like pulling teeth.

My second call to Petra Tools support was handled professionally also, unfortunately I did not write the gal's name down, so sorry. The third time I called , Eli knew his stuff and I was happy with the results of that conversation and this morning Tim was patient, eager to help and I could tell he was doing his job with I smile on his face.

This is "THE" tool you want for any spraying job. NO MORE PUMPING and I can not thank the support team enough for all of their help, thank you.

Excellent sprayer

Easy to put together. It took about 22 minutes to prime the pump the first time I used it. After following video instructions, I contacted support, they were terrific. The pump took longer than expected to prime before first use, just be patient. Once primed, the unit is ready and fires up immediately on future uses. I called support after waiting about 8 to 10 minutes for the pump to prime before my first use. Support had me double-check a few things and then just encouraged me to wait. Sure enough, after waiting another 12-ish minutes, the pump caught and was primed. So build in an extra half-hour before first use. This is only for first use.

I've used it 5 times since and has fired right up each time. Very powerful. You have two options to use, either with the orange switch or by turning on the metal dial and adjusting the power. You should not use both. This was a little unclear in the instructions but support was very helpful.

Very easy to clean after each use. The backpack is very comfortable although I've only used it for a couple hours at a time, but usually loaded with between 3 to 4 gallons. I've never needed to use it for a full day. The backpack also slides on and off wrestling with a weighted full pack

After about 6 moderately long uses, still no leaks or drips anywhere, even after several nozzle switches. Be sure to use the included plumbers tape when assembling.

Tank is clearly marked for easy ratio filling.

My only regret is not getting one of these sooner.
