COVERAGE
Apply BEEST Silicone RV Sealant at the rate of 1.5 gallons per 100 square feet.
Minimum dry mil thickness shall be above 20 mils. Two passes of silicone and a primer coat will be required for some applications

Step 1
Prepare the Area
Move your RV to a well-ventilated area, preferably under the shade. Clear the immediate work area of any unnecessary objects.
Step 2
Clean
Give your RV a good clean. Sweep off any loose debris, then wash the surface using BEEST Roof Cleaner & Degreaser for best results. Apply it by spray, map, etc., agitate severe spots, and rinse thoroughly for residue-free surfaces.
Step 3
Mask
Take your time to mask off vents, skylights, and other areas where sealant isn’t desired. Regular painter’s tape should do the trick.
Step 4
Prime
Use the BEEST Multipurpose Primer before you apply your coating. Apply to a clean, dry surface using a roller or sprayer equipment. For the best curing results, the temperature should be at a minimum of 40°F with humidity less than 90%.
EPDM roofs MUST use a primer. Adhesion tests are recommended to ensure the coating is going to adhere to the substrate, contact PetraTools® customer service if needed.
Step 5
Coat
BEEST RV Roof Sealant may be applied with a 3/4" nap roller for best results. Apply BEEST Silicone RV Sealant only to clean, dry, sound surfaces free of loose particles or other foreign matter.
For best results, ambient temperature should be between 50-90°F. Higher temperatures will shorten the cure and working times for proper application of granules before the material has skinned. Lower temperatures will lengthen the skin over, tack-free and ultimate cure time. Sudden temperature declines may also result in dew formation on surfaces, which can prevent adhesion development. For the best results, relative humidity should be above 20%. Lower humidity will slow the cure time significantly.
Step 6
Cleanup
Use water to clean up tools and spills while sealant is still wet.

Great porduct
I used this sealant to fix to a bad spots on my 5th wheel slide that got damaged for a tree branch. It was very easy to use and when I brushed it on it was a very smooth application. I am more than confident that the roof abrasion is taken care of and won't leak.. The sealant definitely seems durable. I plan on getting more to re coat my whole RV roof in the near future.

Skylight Leak, No More!
Since we purchased our 5th wheel, we had an active leak in the skylight. No cracks in the skylight, so it must be coming from the sealed edges coming loose. I cleaned all sides of mold and dirt, loose sealant, etc. I resealed with Flex Seal made for RV's, looked beautiful! Next rain, no leak, next rain, leak! Shoot! I saw BEEST RV Roof Sealant and grabbed it to give it a try. I used this around the skylight to seal over the Flex Seal, and first rain, no leak, second rain, no leak, third rain and very heavy and windy, and......"NO LEAK!" I'm convinced and will buy enough to cover the entire roof before winter sets in.

Stuff works great as long as you mechanically stir it well and apply it correctly and in the right conditions.
